You might want to clarify what makes this a poor mans type R?

Just putting a stock b16 head on a gsr bottom doesn't make it a poor mans type R.

Does it have type R pistons?
Does it have type R cams?
How about the crank and rods?

I am interested just wanna know

technically, they call it a poor-mans type-r. if it had itr internals then it would basically be a type-r, this is a pretty potent setup as long as the bottom end is strong. and a killer price too. no wonder i cant sell my car when people are almost giving swaps away now :(

Ok I guess times have changed then. When I built my poor mans R at the time it meant having all the type R stuff internally.

Still not the same as a real R because of other aspects

Sorry for the confusion then.
