S&W 642 revolver 38sp +P...great CCW
Name: Darren
Location: Durham, NC......will meet in Emporia (I95 and 58)
I am a NC resident. The sell of this firearm will have to go through a licensed FFL if you are a VA resident.
Means of contact: PM or reply here
Trades: Yes....firearms only
Price: $525obo
Description: S&W j-frame 642 revolver
I've been pondering this for a while, and have decided to change things up a bit. I purchased this gun to carry, and it is GREAT for that. Its called Airweight for a reason. This revolver is a hammerless 5 shot, it shoots 38 special +P.
Here is the link to Smith's site, with all the info you'll need.

I'll post some pictures up after the weekend. Gun is in great shape, just shows a little carbon in front of the cylinder from firing it. It does have the Crimson Trace grips, which were an option from S&W. The gun shoots great, and actually groups really tight. Gun has been cleaned after each time it was used, and it will come with a soft Blackhawk case to carry in your pocket. The case is 'closed' (tip of barrel not exposed), so it doesn't pickup anything from your pocket.
Obvious pre-req's for purchasing this firearm are expected......no if/and/or buts. Asking $525obo, will trade.....tell me what you have as far as compact .45's, and/or Remington 700 (prefer already modded, McMillan stock, bipod, etc).
These were taken after I shot the first 50 rounds through it. I'll get some to show more overall later.

Sorry, will trade for firearms only.
Looking for a trade up or down......looking for a compact .45, and/or something along the lines of a modded Remy 700 (McMillan stock, bipod, etc).

Also, edited the original thread. I am a NC resident, so the sale of this firearm will need to go through a dealer/FFL.
