i have a custom bi-tone rockisland armory Commander edition .45 acp 1911 up for sale.
i have put around 350-400 rounds thru this weapon. never been dropped, and is excellent working condition. i had a freind who works with metal, blast the black paint off, and as you see the top part is a very clean, fine silver.
offers please. will sell right now for $420

if bought, ill include 1 magazine, and blackhawk finger release holster (was $50)

looks good but the slide is not stainless steel and will end up rusting on you. I know I had the same rock and polished the slide and it did it to me. I would have your friend blast the frame as well and just blue it. But like I said looks good and I love the RIA 1911.

Is that a government size frame, or an officers? Looks like an officer, but I wanted to make sure...
Oh, and yeah, what he said ^^^ about the slide. Not stainless, it'll rust without a coating of some sort.
