Bought a PS3 from someone on here, did not work, took it to a repair shop and was told the disk drive assembly needs to be replaced which is $150; all I need is the console, don't need the wires, controller, etc, if anyone has just the system and would sell for less than $15o let me know.

so are you looking for just the disk drive from a ps3? i've got an old 80G that doesn't work ( could need new heat sync, never came around to fixing). it's still got the disk drive in there though..no HDD

I was contacted by cummings 15 who offered a PS3, took it to PM's, sent him the payment via Paypal, told me it would ship on Tue/Wed and heard nothing from him since..hope this works out...will keep it updated.

Sent numerous PM's and an email as well.

I'm parting out my 60gb PS3, my BDdrive stopped working,so I just bought a slim, hard drive works perfectly, if you want to buy it let me know, and that's all you'll need, gimme a price and well Ill post a ebaylink and you can buy it from me, wanna make it legit for you.

Greg - you gotta really watch the fucks over here, not like TWR where its a very very rare occasion that someone gets dicked over .... kids these days are out to get a quick buck and dont care who they fuck over.

Hope things turn out on the right end for you in this situation.

I am learning this quickly..sent a PM to the mods since they have a sticky at the top telling me to contact them if there is a bad seller, did that and was told there is nothing they can do about it...however..cummings15 email address is linked to a business in Norfolk so I will be visiting there if this goes south.

Hate to see a friend get burned by fucking kids, hopefully this is not the case and he will come through.

Found a lot of information about Chris Cummings, owner of CGC racing with a local address....turning this on over to the police, hope $150 was worth the criminal record you are about to have.

I was refunded the amount I paid, I will contact the PD on Monday to close the case.

Debating on whether or not to put negative feedback for him so other buyers are warned.
