the cresteds are really easy to care for. u can keep them at room temp and the eat crested gecko diet which is a powder that u mix with water. and they are nice tempered and can be handled
the giant day geckos on the other hand need a heat lamp and uv light. temps need to be round 85 to 90 in the basking spot. they need the humidity to be around 60% to 70% and they eat a changing diet of crickets, crested gecko diet and fresh tropical non acidic fruit. they are more of a look but dont touch pet cause there skin is very fragile so if u handle them wrong you could severely injure or kill them. they dont really like being handled anyways. but if u get them as babies u can easily train them to be used to you and clime on to you hand and eat from your hand . which can be accomplished by using honey as a treat.
