Awesome man well wakeskating def is a neat twist because your free and can go barefoot or with shoes either or sticks perfect some how, getting up on it is the exact same yet the wakeskate is underwater a lil more and its lean back because the boat can yank ya off. After wakeboarding I got up first and every time on this wakeskate. The size will not effect much at all and to give you a picture this is the middle size there is 2cm down and 2cm up which really would have no effect. As getting bigger into tricks and ollies in the case, you want the smallest size without lacking stability (snowboarding as I grew better went from 162 to a 150,wakeboarding I have a 158 yet prefer to ride my friends 139. I am 5 11" and 170 pounds. Anywhere from a 40 year old 6 2" adult to a 10 year old have gotten up on this board. I enjoyed wakeskating cause it was a more euphoric way of skateboarding and you could do lil fancy lip tricks on the wake and id say landing a pop-shuvit was epic and even ollieing crab pots, the one feature I like about this skate is it has elevated kick tales for nice pop, its a perfect new challenge on the water and no horrible headaches from smacking the water, bails are a lot easier and even quite fun
