ipod docking station-plays videos!!!

mmk so the story is i got this for christmas and thought it was beast as shit. i also got a new ipod touch which was even better. and as soon as i charged my ipod and put a video on it i hooked it straight up to this docking station only to find out that the itouch didnt fit.
so after losing the receipt i cant return it
so obviously this doesnt fit an ipod touch but this is brand new only taken out of the box once and 5 minutes after finding out my ipod didnt fit it went straight back in
