Could you enlighten me as to what unlocked and jailbroken means? Will come pick up this weekend if this will work on a Sprint service plan.

It wont work on sprint. Unlocked means you can use it on any gsm provider and jailbroken is when you can put none apple approved apps on your phone...as well as themes and other things.
