The good: works well... comes with microsoft word and some other great software. I don't have original recovery disc. I've cleaned off all our personal information and tried to maintain as many programs as possible. Screen is perfect (no scratches). This thing is fairly quick for only having 1 gb of ram. So buy a battery and throw 4 gb of ram in it and it'll do whatever you like. This model was easily over 1,000 new.
The bad: needs battery (works fine plugged in)... battery is cheap (25-35$ on ebay). The screen if you wiggle it enough will sometimes have a quick line flash across -but it's just for a mili-second. Scratches on case. Never abused or dropped.
