e-machines broken desktop
name: Chris
Location: VA Beach
MOC: p.m.
I have an older model e-machines that won't turn on. I was wondering if someone needed it and if so, you can have it, all i ask is if you could take the hard drive out and make it into an external hard drive. Someone told me it could be done but I don't know how or even what is needed.

Re: e-machines broken desktop
try fixing the power supply, that's usually what is wrong on a desktop when it wont power on... if you want to make your hard drive external, find out if it is IDE or SATA, and buy a external hard drive enclosure for about 30 or so...

Re: e-machines broken desktop
How do I find out if it's IDE or SATA lol? I don't need it fixed, I already bought a new comp. Thanks for the response.
