Diamond 3-stone Engagement Ring in platinum...

First of all, this is not your $499 Kay/Zales special! If you want something like that, just go there and buy garbage. This mounting is also not the Blue Nile platinum hollow band, this is built out of solid platinum. This ring is brand new, the customer had it specially made but then backed out at the last minute due to family problems.

Here are the specs on the ring:
The center stone is 0.77 carats and is of G color and SI2 clarity. It has an EGL certificate. It is honestly not the best grading lab, but is also not the BS they give you in the chain stores.
The two sides stones are 0.25 each and are of G color and SI1 clarity.
The rest of the diamonds add up to about 0.50 and are of G/SI1.
Again, the metal is solid made band out of platinum. The current size is 7 but it can be resized at no charge for you.
Basically trying to get wholesale price back and asking $3000.
If you look up on Blue Nile (which is probably the best place to find a good priced diamonds, the center stone alone will be about 2k). A platinum mounting like this would run you about $1200 at least, side stones would add up to at least $700 plus all the small diamonds.
