You're selling a gun second hand, you aren't supposed to get back what you have in it. It's used whether or not you say it's new.

Guns are not cars. The value does not depreciate as soon as you take it out of the store.

That's debatable.

You're one of the idiots that panick bought an ar huh? Now you are desperately trying to sell for close to what you paid since the prices are mostly back to normal and stock is replenished. It's worth $1200, I don't care what you or your "local gun store" is selling it for.

Regardless, only a complete fucking idiot would pay more then MSRP for an AR right now. Immediately post Newton no one knew what was going to happen, and your price would have been acceptable. Now? Now your selling a 1100-1200 rifle for 1800 trying to cash in on the last remaining bit of panic buying left.

I guess you ought to just buy the one you linked then. Basic rules of economics are supply and demand. Sure in Texas there are rifles selling for $1200 but here local to me in Roanoke VA they are $2000 so that is what I based my price off of. I also checked arms list where the same rifles in my area are listed at $1850-$2100. I am looking to sell to people in VA not TX so why would I base my price off of what they sell for in TX?

Just few examples for you
