Yeah, is it a hacked phone or something? Alltel is Verizon now. It's the same network.

Even though they are one company.. the Alltel phones wont work on a verizon phone plan.. if you have an Alltel phone plan it will work on that.. if you call Verizon they will explain it.. If you buy a verizon phone and you are on an Alltel phone plan you have to switch to a Verizon phone plan for it to work. So if when they merged and you were with Alltel this phone will work with your Alltel plan.. I know its all jacked up.. Its kind of hard to explain they way they are working everything since they were bought out
