Is this worth $8000?
Dude wants to trade me this for my bike. Would this be an easy sell? 89 Wrangler, 350 small block w/ turbo 350. New 40" boggers, 4:10's, Dana 60 rear, and 3" exhaust.

Re: Is this worth $8000?
Theres a lot of custom work done, but was it done correctly? What year small block? Mileage on the engine? Mileage on the transmission? Dana 60 axle...like an aftermarket "pro rock" from dyna trac or something thrown together from a junk yard?
If you are planning on unloading it after the trade to make a few dollars, the market is gonna be slim. You will have to find someone looking for a jeep on 40's with a small block. Those kind of mods are usually hard to get your money back out of, unless you find the one person looking for what you have built.
edit:How long has the current owner been trying to sell it? That might give you an indication of why he wants to trade.

No. The market for a heavily modified Jeep is far less than the market for a bike. Throw up an index card for sale ad at local bike shops near the beach and it'll be gone quickly once tax refund checks roll in.
