This may be your CRV but to my recollection, the top-hats were cut and re-welded. Stock springs were in place though. How do I know? I took the pic. Don't believe? Here's a pic of ME looking in the wheel wells:

the only part of the top hat you could have seen is the part that fits directly over the spring...the rest is covered by the spacer.

I will say this though: The CRV does have pretty deep shock towers up front, but not in the back. I looked all the way around and didn't see a spacer. Sorry though, no pictures of me looking at the back.

your funny(always a chance im right)..when you looked at it you should have seen about the 1/2" of the top hat that the top of the spring fits in to then you would have seen the 1.5" spacer directly on top of that then on top of that is the body of the truck.
