Default Wheel Opinion - 07 GMC 1500 (new body style)

I really am having a hard time deciding on what wheel I want to put on my GMC. I had always said Ill stick to nothing larger than an 18" wheel, but I have started to like the look of 20" wheels on 35's. Opinions please.

Truck is a 07' GMC 1500 Sierra Ext. Cab short bed.

6" Lift - Unknown wheel/tire combo - someone find out.

BMF 20" Chrome Novakane 8 Wheels, 37" Toyo M/T Tires

35" Toyo A/T, 22" Ion Forged Wheels (I would not get 22's)

35" Toyo M/T's on 20" Chrome BMF Novakaine's

Not sure on the wheel/tire sizes but Id guess 22's on 37's?

20" KMC Wheels, and 35" Toyo Tires

24" X 12" Weld Cheyenne, 37/13.50/24 Toyo tires (once again, nothing bigger than 20")

Anyone else have any other suggestions?

35's with 18's. I wouldn't go 20's unless you go 37's.

Well what is weird is the factory 20's on all of the GM trucks look good, as far as wheel size to apsect ratio. I think I should look at the tire cost between 18's and 20's just to get an idea of how bad the offset is. That might sway my decision even more, especially if we are talking $100-$150 extra a tire.

08 Chevy 1500

08 GMC 1500

08 Chevy Avalanche

I wouldnt mind getting a set of the factory GMC 20's but people are wanting $1200ish for a set. Personally.. at that price, I'll buy something aftermarket.

impo, wheels over 17" looks rediculously stupid on trucks.

I think as long as you try and retain a decent size sidewall, it can be pulled off very well. However, when people start going to 22-24" wheels, then it gets to be a bit stupid.

I think (like stated above) 18's with 35" tires look good even 20's with 35" tires but 37's with 20's look better. It's not like I am even going to consider an aggressive tires, may a MT...maybe. I do like Baja Claws.
