I thought that this tread was about ttb flex. IFS is fine for the daily driver/weekend warrier. It works great in mud, sand, snow and street. Not so good in the rocks. Agreed not much flex expensive to lift and wheel.

But the bottom line is that a ttb axle can get extreme wheel travel (artulation). It costs more than the same wheel travel as a solid axle. But a solid axle is far from perfect. Lots of unsprung weight (see above reference to broken panhard bar. Front axle suspensions are all about tradeoffs. If you change one thing you affect another.

I defenatly agree that most people the best offroad bang for the buck is a rear locker. Lunchbox lockers are realitevly cheap and easy to install. But any offroad enhancement will take away from street performance and comfort. Any modification is a trade off, unless its a traily queen.

Yeah it probably can considering the back of your Jeep isn't flexing worth shit. The goal in off roading is to make it through the obsticle not look cool doing it. My truck would make it through that ditch fine. So, yeah, I would be on your bumper where ever you took your non-flexing Jeep. Your Jeeps looks to do all it's flexing in the front. My truck does it all in the rear and the IFS flexes to the bumpstops, granted that's not very far but I am using all the travel available.

What size tires are those?

Well, whoever's it is, it isn't flexing very good in the rear.

And yes the driver mod is key.
