Default Va. Wheel In

Is anybody going to this event? I have never been. It is in Nelson County at the Oak Ridge estate. The United Four Wheel Drive Association is the sponsor. I believe that it is on March 12, 13 and 14 (Thurs.-Saturday). It seems to be a big event.

Do you have to be a UFWDA member?

I do not know if you need to be a member, but I dont think so.

I have never been to this event. It is a 4x4 jamborie (meet, greet and wheel). It is held at the same location as the camp jeep. I want to say that this is a big event. There is some information on the UFWDA website, including a phone # to call for info. I have not called.

I thought about something anyone that is going should know. Nelson County dirt is more of a red clay, it will turn white clothes red, it has been known to turn vehicle parts red. Just a heads up on what the soil is like, don't wear clothes that you don't mind getting red. Mud washes out, this doesn't.
