Va Driven's First off road build thread
Well since there isnt much action in this little forum I figure I'll try to make things a little more interesting. I recently sold off just about all of my samurai stuff, my built rig and my DD, and bought 2 of the rarest of rare when it comes to suzuki stuff. These are 1982 SJ410's, short for Suzuki Jeep 4 cyl 1.0 liter. There is only like 10 of these in the US, and maybe like 20-30 or so that are known to exist worldwide on the internet, no bullshit. Basically the holy grail of suzuki stuff. So being the Suzuki nut that I am, I tracked down 2 of them. One to restore and one to build. The black rig will be getting a full resto.....
The camo truck, which won't be camo for long, is getting a Mitsubishi 4g63 2.0L turbo motor, toyota R151F tranny, Dual yota cases with 4.7s in the rear case, yota axles, yj fronts and Xj rear springs, and some other goodies like a exo cage from a buddy of mine. I will have a build thread started shortly once I have more then 5 bucks to my name. The build might take a little longer then normal as i just started my apprenticeship at the shipyard in august so i'm not making what i used to at the old job, but it will get done for sure. Anyway, enough typing here's some pics..... Ill be updating as parts come along....
