Turbo yota ?s

Has anyone ever owned one of these trucks or know someone who does? (Turbo Yota 4x4) looking for pros and cons of that particular motor. Any common upgrades done to the Turbo setup? I'm asking because I'm considering buying one but I will not leave it stock.

yes.
pro's- its boosted pretty cool I guess.
Con's- everything about the setup. only good thing the 22ret had to offer was the block offered a higher nickle percent than the stock 22re block.
The afm is a 12v output voltage so a easily found apexi neo, greddy emanage, etc, etc, piggy back system can only be found in the mega squirt box.
I have/had mine blown 4 times. kinda leting it sit around till I decide on a different swap, or if I really want to continue on the 22re turbo path I started on. wanted to be setting at around the 400 ft lbs torque.
The engine came non intercooled from the factory, so first is to add a intercooler, and a simple narrow band gauge would be sufficent when adjusting the wheel afm for a "tune" seriously the biggest issue I have with the setup is the flapper door. I cant stop thinking about how crappy it is.
There is jeff mosk in san fran who started 22ret.com or something like that. here it is: http://www.22rte-trucks.com/simplemachinesforum/
jeff has days and days of reading on his blog for building his truck over many years.
Few guys in dallas, and then a few guys here in hampton roads are into them.

I have one. It's a 2wd standard cab with a 22tre swap from a 4runner. I swapped in a 5 speed from celica. Purchased it from a guy on this forums a couple of years ago.

I'm running around 10-11 psi on the the worn stock ct-20 (smoking bad). Plan to swap in a t3 from a volvo/ 7ngte injectors and pushing the boost up to 14 psi. Havent had any mechanical problems with the motor yet.

Thx for the input. And yotarip I'm feeling your setup. I only want to do around 12-14psi.max. I want to make the truck multipurpose. I want a bad ass hunting/ trail truck. I love the mud. More input is appreciated.
