You can only lock the E-locker on the Tacos in 4-low. there is a small solenoid that resides on the third member that slides a collar inside the axle.

Took it home and washed it up a bit. There's one spot of bubbled paint by the top of the windshield frame about the size of a quarter. I'll probably have Joey at Stock or Modified fix that up for me. The intake tube is cracked as well so I'm going to order a K&N type replacement. Other than that, it runs and drives like a dream. I put about 150 miles on it yesterday and it goes like a new truck. I'll give it a few more miles for us to get acquainted and then see how it does through a bit of sand.

Here it is cleaned up a bit.

Yeah, I'm not too sure how I feel about it. I like the concept of doing a couple inches of the side of the bed, but the little dip in the front is kind of odd. Unfortunately, it's not easy to remove, so I'll deal with it.

I'm already looking for some parts for it too. I can't believe how much cheaper truck parts are than car parts. You know any good online places to shop for parts?

Lift, wheels/tires, and an intake for now. The intake is priority though, the one on there is cracked and needs to be replaced.

I'm open for advice on all of it. I'm not looking for a giant lift. Just something that will allow for some more tire so beach going is a little easier.

My advice as far as lift goes is to pick what size tire you want to run first. Then, spec out your lift, wheels and suspension modifications to accomodate the tires. Also remember that you don't want to lift the truck any more than you have to to fit the tires you want. Anything more puts the center of gravity needlessly high. Don't be afraid of a small (1" or so) body lift. It isn't going to hurt anything and will hardly be noticed but can give you that last little bit of clearance. I am running 3"s of lift or so on my truck and clearing 33X12.50's with the front IFS fully compressed and the wheels turned. 1" body and 2" suspension. Don't use lift blocks in the rear, it will cause axle wrap issues. Use an add-a-leaf or a full spring pack. For the front I think the small lifts use coil spring spacers.

What size tires are on the truck now?
