Default question

*I'm not trying to discriminate if that is the way the question comes across.* It seems like a lot of you eastern va guys like wide tires, why? Is it the sand?! I'm referring to like 33" tires and smaller. Like the trial member who just posted looking for 33x16.50's. To me that would just look hillarious, having a tire that small and that wide.

Right, well a 35x14.50 is a typical sized tire.. it's natural for them to get wider as they are larger... but even a 33x14 seems hella wide to me.

And I am not really referencing it to car tires. lol... I know the reasoning for wide ass tires back there.

to me it all depends on what you wheel on, around here its usually mud, or sand when i go to the OBX, thats why i want a wide tire. now if i lived out west with nothing but rocks, id have a nice skinny tire for more contact pressure
