I understand. I have nothing for Potts right now. I'm still wheeling the El Stocko Cherocar for now till my Samurai is done.
Maybe we can plan another ride/camping trip sometime soon? I'd LOVE to get up with you and check that Runner out!

Got the PM... Not sure yet. Have a bunch going on lately but would like to camp/wheel at least once this fall. I know I want to do a snow run sometime this winter if we have the right conditions.

Snow wheeling is great! If there's snow and its not packed into ice! lol
I went to S.C in february of last year IIRC.. didn't see a bit of snow till we got to the top of the mountain.. the entire hill on the way down was solid ice! I think everyone was pullin seat material outta their cracks when we got to the parking lot.. I was the last rig to go down.. was great seeing everyone slide sideways and shit all the way down

I'm up for camping.. though its starting to get cold and I might have to do it bear grylls style and bring the fire into the tent with me.

This was a week after one of the larger snow storms last winter... I think first week of March if my memory serves me right. There were no tracks other than the ones my group made.
Trick with Shoe Creek and snow is to start at the bottom and work your way up. There wasn't snow until about halfway up we had a group of 4 and one was a very mild Cherokee who wan't able to hang so we never went all the way to the top but it got worse the higher we went.

Yea the entire front side of the mountain was snowless, but the backside had been traveled a bunch so the snow had packed down, melted, and then frozen into ice lol
