I think everyone should respect peoples' personal property. If you have permission thats great, but if its not your property I wouldn't venture on it.

For me it all really boils down to what effort they (landowners) took. If its posted not to trespass, I wont. But if theres no sign I see it as free game, if they don't want it driven on, then they would spend the change to buy some signs. I don't know what land is taken for and if it looks fun I'm probably gonna play until I'm told otherwise. Now common sense should steer most away from crop fields and fields with maintained grass, if not thats just wrong.

I don't enjoy the mud anyway... although at random times there is a strange urge to wanna floor it into a mud puddle. =]

I havn't been in any kind of mud since 1998 though. I'd like to know of some beginner-intermediate trails in NE North Carolina where I can just go trail riding.

Thanks, I've never mudded in my own truck (it's stock). But really, if the owner's took some trouble to make sure people know not to trespass like putting up signs, etc., then I would respect it. But, someone who owns a lot of land that is already torn up and who is never back there probably doesn't give a shit.

That's not quite what you said the first time. That's a little better statement here.

Oh, and I completely agree with Gear.
