Default How big can I go?

I am installing a 3inch body lift on my 99 Tacoma. Would 34 or 35s be to big to fit or would it rub when I turned? Anyone with any input please let me know. Anything else I would have to do or anything... Thanks.

Alot will depend on how wide you go too. I put 35"s on my truck and they didnt rub. When I put the same tires on a wider wheel they rubbed like hell.

i highly doubt that 34 or 35s would fit a taco with a 3 inch body lift. maybe with some cutting. i have a book with a tire fitment guide that says that with 4 inches of suspension lift you can get 35s on it. it might be worth it going for the suspension lift, they're easy as shit for tacomas, so i've heard. good luck though man.

yeah a buddy of mine had trouble squeezing 35s on his Tundra with a bodylift. He had a tacoma before that, I think he said he would've needed 5 inches (suspension) and a 2 inch BL to fit the 35x12.50s

I can tell you they won't fit without rubbing. All I have on my truck is a 3" BL and ~2" torsion bar/shackle lift with 305/70/16's (33x12.50's) and I'm a LOT bigger than a stock Tacoma. So with that said if you lifted a Tacoma 3" it wouldn't even be as tall as my truck, so I don't think so.

Put a suspension lift on it. A truck with just a BL looks like shit IMO. I don't think you have a chance of fitting the 35s with just the BL anyway, i think that you may be hard pressed to fit 33s as it is without some rubbing at least on the fenders if you do anything more than drive around the mall.

A body lift is good if your just trying to fit bigger rubber. If you will actually need suspesion travel off road then you need to do a sys. lift. Nothing wrong with a body lift tho. And when its done right, you cant tell anyway.
