Honestly, there won't be many 6.0's in that price range anyway. If they are, they're pretty high mileage. While that doesn't usually matter with diesels, 6.0's EGR coolers like to get clogged, causing it to overheat and seriously fuck the engine up, which tends to occur >100,000 miles. Best thing about 7.3L fords: No emissions. Which makes it easier to swap a late model diesel engine into it and take the DPF off and make some serious power (Which is on my to-do list )

And technically they do have solid axle swap kits.

I just prefers ford trucks. There's a reason they have been the best selling trucks for 34 years straight.

Looks like its settled then, looking for a 7.3l Ford. Post up some trucks for sale now, sub-15K, perhaps already lifted. Im willing to travel.

You prob. Won't find to many of the newer 7.3L fords in the 15K range. But here's a pretty clean 96 7.3L I found for sale.
