I have some 100% legal DOT stamped double beadlocks...they are not 15's though.

I have 3 sets of 24 bolt and 12 bolt HMMWV and Hummer H1 rims and all have DOT stamped clearly on the outer half of the wheel.

Stock H1's also come factory with beadlocked wheels.

Buy some used ones.... save money and don't have to mess with welding up a set. I ran these just about daily and never got pulled over or questioned, once, in va beach of all places.....

Here is another set of mine reentered but still retains the DOT stamp:

And another set of 2 piece wheels on my k5 with internal double beadlocks:

Like what has already been mentioned, I doubt anyone is going to question whether your rims/wheels are DOT, you would likely get busted for exhaust or fender coverage before anything else. Cheapest route is to go to a 16.5" wheel/tire if you require a DOT stamp....

Ya, that's where I found the DIY ones. I've read on there but was looking to see i anyone locally had used them and had any experiences with them. You know.... things to get, stay away from..... kinda experiences.

BTW I love your Humvee!

I'd like to. More than likely thats whats going to happen. I just can't find any that are reasonably priced that are used. There is always something wrong with at least one of them. You have any leads on a set?
