Default Coil spacers?

Anyone had any experience using coil spacers? Do they work? I am looking into lifting a truck, i bought some 33in. tires with rims for a 99 Ranger, (2wd), and i just want to lift it enough to fit the tires and rims. The cheaper the better But i want it to be safe...so any input is appreciated! thanks

actually, i test fit the tires today, WITHOUT the lift, on stock suspension, and i am now riding on the 33's Very minor rubbing, NO cutting. I will post pics tomorrow after i do the necessary trimming. The body lift is still going to be put on, but it is fun having the tires on for now!
