where did you learn about SAS... i got an 01 Taco and thinking that when i get it paid off im gonna turn it into a trail rig. and most the read ups ive seen jsut arent that detailed

My 4runner is a bit easier to do then your tacoma will be though.. however I would suggest searching around on tacomaterritory.com at the different install threads.

Here is the axle that I started off with.
Heres the axle after some welding and powdercoating waiting reassembly.
Here is the truck in its current state. Front spring hanger welded on.. The holes are cut in the frame for the rear shackles.. Starting the tear down process.
Never again.
When the rain clears up i'll head back out there to do some more.
