bronco wheel question

Default bronco wheel question

well i think im going to pick up a bronco within the next few days...


i've decided i want to run 35 inch tires...


how wide of a wheel should i look for? to run maybe like a 35x13.5

where should i order wheels from, wheres the cheapest? can i get them used?

etc... any info would be appreciated

It depends on what type of look you like. I like a 10" rim with a 12.5 or 13.5 wide tire.

8's are alright on a 12.5 but 10's seem to be a little better . . . summitracing.com usually has some soft 8's or just plain black steel wheels for about 30 - 40 bucks a piece

yea i was looking on discount tire direct... and im thinking of going with a 15x10 wheel to run 35x13.5 tires.

That is a whole lot of lift for that size tire. 6 inches of suspension would be enough for 35x13.50's

im not looking to just clear the wheel. i want quite a bit over the wheel.

Run a 36x14.50 on a 12 inch wide rim with the same lift described above. you will be in great shape. I am also a fan of really clearing tires.

well thats quite enough, ive got 8-9 inches of lift clearing 39's
