Default Another "Help me decide on a truck" Thread

SUP BRAHZ

So, another thread from me, eh? Yep. I may be the most difficult person to sell a car to, since I change my mind almost as much as Caleb.

If you tuned in to my last thread, I wanted a diesel truck. Well, I still do, but I moved into a new place and my cash flow has dwindled slightly per month.

Here are my specs: Price - ~7k.
Gas or Diesel. 6cyl or 8cyl preferred.
Must have some ground clearance, no little kid shit.
I'd love an actual truck, with a bed, but Im realizing that that may not be in my price point.
The later the model, the better. Trying to stay post-'00.
MUST HAVE A/C. Non-negotiable.
I don't want to fuck with it. I'm not into a "fixer-upper" right now.

I'm going to be honest, I hate Jeep's. Hate them. But I'm willing to go with a Wrangler if it fits into my budget.

You guys know what to do. Suggestions, pros and cons, any help at all would be awesome. Gracias in advance.

you may be able to find a 90-98 7.3 in that range, but it will have miles...good luck.

Good luck finding a Wrangler in good shape for 7k. It's possible, but most likely by the time you find it you'll have changed your mind again. haha.

get this...put a low mileage used engine in it and you will have a nice truck for not a whole lot of money

That's great, but I'm tired of buying vehicles that need work. So as in my original post, no fixer uppers.

And its really that unreasonable to look for a 97+ wrangler for 7k? For once I thought I had a price point pinned.

Does anyone know a salesman at a jeep dealership? I'm mainly looking to keep my monthly payments below 250.
