uh you might need a ford axle some of the later gm's it was drivers side front driveshaft. anyway 94 jimmy is that the little one? if it is you dont need a 60 a 44 would be plenty

Re: 12" springs under jimmy
If you have 12" springs, you obviously have a full size and it is going to use a regular passenger-side front end. I had a chevy with 12" springs, and was running a D44 and 14 Bolt, with 38s and had no trouble, but sam, who wrote above me, runs the same axles, but with a big block and 44s, and braks a lot of shit. I also have a friend who has a D44 with 44 inch boggers, and has had no trouble, but he is running a light truck and a small block. What axle you use is going to depend a lot on how big of a tire you are going to use, how big of a motor you are going to have, the weight of your truck, and your driving style. If you do any rock crawling at all, a D60 is a must, as the Jimmy will break a D44 in the rocks, but if you are not running too much power, you can get away with a D44 in the mud and on trails, and they are about $500 cheaper than a D60, and that is before you try to build it. If you can afford it, go with the D60 as it will be stronger and almost impossible to break under regular off-road use (anything will break if you do dumb enough shit), but a D44 is a lot cheaper and easier to get a hold of, and will be pretty strong one you put in a new set of axleshafts, probably whenever you finaly break what is in there. Also, you can use a front axle from a Dodge, as they will fit a chevy, though the spring perches might need slight modification, but the Chevy fronts are a lot more prevalent.
