maybe the cop pulled him over just b/c it looks like an aftermarket exhaust. I wonder if a cop will think dual n1s are aftermarket exhausts...

something along those lines happend to me before. Since your state inspection was out of date, i'm pretty sure you could have requested that the car be towed to a gas station that does state inspections. I did that then paid the tow truck driver to drop me off a couple miles down the road once the cop was out of sight.

ugh, i hate fairfax, it's so ghey...and my new exhaust is louder then hell...imagine an N1 but w/o a resonator or available silencer...after i get the 100 things i need to fix on my car taken care of, i'm totally gonna be building myself a silencer...i'm thinking of heavily wrapping the piping, as well as retrofitting a N1 silencer into the tip

they really don't care about the noise unless its excessivly loud, its on the appearence of the muffler

s14vaxlr8, you ARE lucky u didn't goto jail. I got caught driving on suspended last weekend (15th of Oct). I was initially pulled over for my damn exhaust. Anways i just played fake and got out of going to jail and getting car towed. I had to walk home at 3 AM tho.

i think due to the fact that it was not a court issued suspension and i had a valid license on me, they only towed the car, it literally took longer to get the car up on the truck than the time it sat in the lot before i got it out....
with no verification that i received the notice of suspension, not sure how that will hold up court
