sand blasting

first of all i dont know much about the process of sand blasting. my assumption is you can sand blast just about anything thats been painted. here's the deal, i have this antique metal bed frame that the paint is chipping off of and it just looks nasty. me and my wife start sanding it down by hand and it's a total PITA. are there any places in NOVA that can handle a project like this? would a regular body shop be able to do it?

Why not get some aircraft stripper and go at it? It won't take every bit of it off, but itll get 90% of it.
