Hey All, I am new here and I just picked up a civic hatch. It needs a little bit of TLC , the core support is a bit bent on the passenger side, the hood closes (but after the previous owner massaged it a bit). There is now lower damage to the core support (or Bulkhead). All i want done is to have the core support replaced. I plan on taking everything off myself, went to a shop and they told me that they have to put on the fenders, hood, bumper e.t.c to align the core support. That sounds ridiculous since once the core support is on you can't really "Align it" because of all the spot welds required to get it on, and if you try taking it off you are more than likely going to have to destroy it. So what they are telling me just does not sound right. Can anyone recommend a reputable body shop in the area ?

how about painting ? im thinking about removing my front end to get it repainted, can someone recommend a good shop ?
