This is the first snow in over 10 years of living in VA that's made me wish I had one, but my driveway's only like 15ft long. In the time it took my neigbor to use his snowblower on his driveway, I had shoveled mine enough to get the truck and rex out if needed.

17inches at the house. Live in area with awesome neighbors that let you borrow their snow blower. Then they take their tractor with bucket and clear our road better than State does. Still ended up shoveling some around the cars and what the blower couldn't get down too.

Weather here is so out of whack. ~10-12" of snow last yesterday and now it's in the mid 50s.

Sucks. People often don't realize how much that amount of snow really weighs.

Tell you what, my shovel broke yesterday when it was still fresh and I borrowed a neighbors today. The 1" layer of slush on the bottom sure fucked up my day.

ps - That sucks, luckily it's just a crown vic. I'm sure he's got insurance and all will be well in the world!

The grounds keepers at my building were charging $20 to dig cars out. . . best $40 I ever spent, car dug out, and my numbered space.
