Hello all,
I got a job in fairfax and need to move. I'm working in the Fair oaks area and I'd like something fairly close to work (I commute 20 miles currently ) but price will ultimately dictate my decision.

An apartment around $1200 or less would be ideal.

Please let me know. I don't know the area at all.

1200 or less? Good luck, bro. There are loads of finished walk out basement apartments, all utilities included that fit into that range though. For a single, you should be looking in the 12-1600 range, and the closer into penderbrook, the mall, the more $$$.

I managed a pretty sweet deal on the condo where I am at, but it's still over $1300, but the only bill I pay is cable. I know there are a couple units open, I can pm you info on the condo community if you want.

No, there is a facility in VaB where kids right out of the academy/recruiting go and get their shiny new badges, and a licence to take back all the reasons they got C's in high School.

Seems that way. But I've never heard of va beach cops giving "obstruction of view" tickets for having a college sticker on the rear window.
