Default Check Code 21 problem!

I just swapped a OBD2 GSR motor into my 92 Civic DX. I just started it up the other day and keep getting Check code 21 which is VTEC Spool solenoid valve. The harness from my ecu to the strut tower area match up fine with the OBD2 harness to the VTEC solenoid. Is there something else that I'm missing??

No splicing at all. I just did plug and play cuz 92 dx comes pre-wired for vtec.

they do, this kid has no idea what hes talking about, obd2 wiring harnesses go all the way threw into the car to the ecu. obd 1 wiring harnesses break at the strut tower.obd2 and obd1 wiring hanesses wont hook up to each other theres no way. so he would have to be using a obd1 wiring harness on an obd2 motor or its a obd1 gsr swap. and the thing your missing is the knowledge on doing a proper swap

I just posted here for some help. I didn't come here to debate about my lack of knowledge on motor swaps. If someone could help me out, great! If your just gonna be a dick about this...then don't post at all! I mean, isn't a forum about helping each other out??
