sync really isnt going to make the bike run super bad(unless they are so far out). i mean it helps but you can still ride it.. just sync them by eye or with a filler gauges..

did to rebuild the carbs to stock spec? are you running a jet kit?. did yo drill the low speed? or atleast shim the needles, bigger main jet? set the a/f srews yet?

sycin and tunning the bike are 2 very different things

yeaa but they have been cleaned out good and new here and there parts inside the carbs it is on a 81.. i know it needs a tune as well but i have messed with them and i am no motorcycle mechanic... soo thats why i figured i would start by syncing them all correct and if it still sucks then ill take it to a bike shop

just b.c they look clean doesnt mean there clean. you cant sync. them if the bikes doesnt run right.

hmm well what would u think i would need to do. i mean the bike will run easily on choke.. but when i let choke off after it has ran for a few mins it cuts off immediately. which is why i believe it is the carbs needing to be syncd
also it has electric start and the battery is shitty have to keep a charger on it when i start it
