94 yamaha XJ600 Seca 2 - Great starter bike!
SOLDDD
The bike is a 94 Yamaha XJ600 Seca 2. It has about 20,100 miles. The motor runs great, it's been down by the previous owner but everything still runs great and straight.
I got the bike last year and since then I've done a lot of maintenance and work to it.
All of this was done starting last year.
Rebuilt front shocks and replaced with stiffer springs
replace rear shock and spring
rebuilt carb
oil replaced every 3,000 miles with synthetic
replace the chain and sprockets with an X-ring RK chain
new fuel pump
new spark plugs
new fuel filter
The bike also comes with a lower fairing and extra parts and a Haynes manual.
The bad:
the paint is faded on some parts and they're scratches and a crack on the right side where its been down.
I was going to paint it and fix it but figuring it was a starter bike, I didn't bother too.
What will be done before the bike is sold is another oil change and valve adjustments.
I am asking for $1,200 obo
This is a great bike to start riding on and after a season when you're more comfortable, you can move onto a new and faster bike.
