2004 Yamaha R6

$3,500 obo. Taking partial gun trades. Still going to need a large amount of cash on top.
I will not trade for your beat ass Honda, so please don't ask.
Selling a 2004 R6, with 20,XXX miles . Bike was basically a commuter vehicle for the past year, I bought it from a member here in February 09 with just over 9k. It's been very well maintained ever since. Only modification the bike has received is a Yoshimura slip on. It's the carbon fiber tri-oval with the power tip and it sounds great. I also have swing arm spools to put it on a rear stand.
In March of '10 the bike was laid down in a turn due to sand, and the bike behind me hit it. Multiple members here were at the accident and can vouch the bike held up fairly well. The right side is rashed but very fixable, the stickers make it look worse than it really is. Exhaust has some flaws also. Left side made it out with less damage, but still has a little. Somehow the rear seat got torn near the strap. The nose fairing, headlight, and fairing stay took the blunt of the hit resulting in broken headlight cover and casing, fairing stay is broken but held together firmly with JB weld, and the nose has a crack. The left side mirror actually came out of the casing so I removed both, but they can be included in sale.
Overall, the bike has cosmetic flaws but runs amazing. I have taken in account the damage and feel as if I'm asking accordingly, seeing as I've seen worse go for more. I'm aware people will lowball, and you must be aware I'll gladly ignore it if done. I'm not negotiating through texts or emails, if you're interested you can come look at the bike in person and we can talk.
I am including pictures of before and after the accident, I do have many more I can post if need be.

Re: 2004 Yamaha R6
Nice...
I have the parts to fix this bike for whoever buys it... and the means of getting it painted if they want.
Looks like from the first picture... the seat was torn before the accident. Its not bad though... so... shouldn't be a problem.
You open to trades for it?

Re: 2004 Yamaha R6
It had a dry rotted spot on the corner, I think the foot peg of the other bike caught it because it was all the way across when I got it home.
Not really open to trades unless its like a gun and 3k, I need to get payoff.
