2002 Suzuki Savage LS650, 5040 miles, $2k
Name: Mike
Location: West End Richmond
Means of contact: PM or thread
Price: $2000
Description:
2002 Suzuki Savage LS650 5043 miles - $2000
Wife bought this for me last summer as a birthday present, but we are now starting a family so it has got to go. I had it inspected in June and it passed 100%. At the same time I had the carb looked at because there was considerable backfire, a common issue on these bikes. It was tuned and backfire was lessened greatly, but there is still the occasional backfire and popping. The extras on this bike are a TKAT fork brace, Harley handlebar, bar-end mirrors, Harley Dyna exhaust pipe, heat wrapped exhaust and a very nice Corbin seat. I have all of the OEM parts that can easily be put back on if so desired.
This bike would make a great starter bike. It has enough power to safely merge into traffic and have a good time on the road, but not so much that it can get away from you. It is a smaller bike so it is easy to ride. The bike has never gone down while moving - I mistakenly let a friend sit on it in a parking lot and when he got off of it it fell over (because of the awkward way he dismounted). It scratched the outside of the right mirror. All other wear was on the bike when I got it. It's not in perfect condition, but it is in very good shape for a 10 year old bike. I did not keep the battery tender on it this winter and so now the battery is dead, but I will replace that by this weekend. Bike will come with all stock parts, battery tender and generic vinyl cover. I have always kept the bike covered.

Thanks for the offer, not really interested in trades though. Good luck!
