2001 Monster 750 Dark
For Sale,
2001 Monster 750 Dark located in Virginia Beach, VA, approximately 10,500 miles. Valves were adjusted in November 2008. Bike runs and rides great, if I weren't buying my dream bike, I'd keep it. The bike has the following mods/features:
Keihin 39mm FCR flat slide carbs with all new fuel lines run
Cored and chopped factory exhaust
Cycle Cat billet top tripple clamp (black)
Showa fully adjustable superbike forks from a 748
998 clip-ons with black LSL alluminum bars
CRG bar end adapters
One CRG Blindspot mirror
Carbon fiber faring from these guys
Tail chop with blue bar ends for frame plugs
Clear Alternatives smoked tail light lens with integreated LED brake/turn signals
Dunlop Qualifier tires with about 1200 easy miles on them
Also includes Pit Bull front stand and generic rear stand
The bad:
The previous owner had dented the tank and had it repaired. The repair isn't as perfect as I'd like it to be. Many people don't notice it at all, but I know it's there, you can kind of see it in the third pic. Also when I was adjsting the valves some fuel leaked onto the tank and lifter the primer off fromthe repair job (entire tank was primered). Just a minor flaw. Good new, since she's all black, through another carb'ed tank of your choice on there and she perfect! Also, the previous owner (a friend of mine) dropped the bike at about 1 MPH in my gravel driveway which scratched the end of the front brake lever and maybe some of the exhaust shielding, but no other damage.
Asking price $4,000, negotiable. Sorry, no trades.
