1998 Honda VFR800F Interceptor
Name: Elric
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Means of contact: PM, Post
Price: $3800obo
Description: Some unfortunate financial obligations have surfaced and I need to sell my bike (toys are always first things to go). The bike runs FLAWLESSLY. Starts every time and for those that don't know it is fuel injected not carb'd. The bike currently has just under 19k on the clock. Pretty much it's whole life it's spent below 6000rpm as it was a commuter/touring bike and that's what I've done on it until recently. I stopped doing touring on it and decided I wanted a sporty bike so I started setting it up for more 1-up back road riding. The bike has a LOT of modifications but they are very, very tasteful. Anyone who rides this bike will NOT be disappointed in the quality of parts and work put into the bike. I've always used Mobil 1 Motorcycle oil on the changes at 2500 miles.
As far as trades go I'm not really interested in too many things but entertain me.
Here's a list of the modifications on the bike:
Engine Mods:
K&N Filter
Dynojet Power Commander II
Micron High Mount Slip On
Barnett Clutch Kit
Scotts Performance Stainless Steel Oil Filter
Suspension/Brakes/Tires:
Ohlins Remote Reservoir Adjustable Rear Shock
Galfer Wave Style Front Rotors
Galfer Wave Style Rear Rotor
Galfer Braided Stainless Brake & Clutch Lines
EBC HH Sintered Brake Pads
Michelin Pilot Power 120/70/ZR17 - 180/55/ZR17
Appearance/Comfort/Luggage:
GenMar Bar Risers
Speed Metal LED License Plate Lights
Harris Motorsports "VFR" Gel Grips
Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windshield
Hard Wired "Battery Tender"
Solo Seat Cowl
Carbon Fiber Front Fender Extender
Carbon Fiber Clutch Cover Overlay
Carbon Fiber Trim on upper Triple
Corbin Gunfighter & Lady Seat
Corbin Passenger Backrest
Givi Monokey Frame and Mounting Plate
Mirror Risers
Frame Sliders
Powder Coated fairing fasteners
Chrome: Rear sets, Passenger Pegs, Wheels, Upper Triple, Kick Stand, Center Stand and Heat Shield
Trimmed Fender
Painted Frame Low Gloss Black
Pictures:
These pictures show the Corbin Passenger Backrest and the Givi Monokey rack installed. The Corbin Beetle bags have been sold.
This is how the bike looks currently.

Re: 1998 Honda VFR800F Interceptor
LoL at the moment it doesn't look like it's going anywhere...oh those who just don't know...if paying for school and having a roof over my head weren't higher on my priority list I wouldn't even be dreaming of selling it.
