Default 1985 Honda Rebel 250 Bobber Project

Name: Sevan
Location: Bethesda, MD
Means of contact: Email That7guy@gmail.com
Price: $1200

Description: Just in time for riding season! Up for sale is a bobbed 1985 Honda Rebel 250 with 1,100 miles and a clear title! Currently not running, all it needs is to put the carbs and battery back together and it will start right up. I rode this bike to work every day last summer and it has been sitting since fall. Brand new 150 whitewall rear tire and come with replacement front. The bike has drag bars, removed rear fender, solo seat, side mount license plate and Cadillac brake light. I have all the original parts so it can be converted back to stock if desired. Selling because I’ve become bored of this project and would rather put the time and $ into my other projects. Asking $1200. Located in Bethesda, MD. The first picture is of what it looked like when I was riding it last season. Second and third are of its current condition and last all the original parts that will be included in the sale.

So why is the carb, etc. off of it now?

I really want a little project bike, but its hard to spend 1200 bucks on something you can't even fire up...

I took off the carb, air box and battery box last fall with the intention of cleaning off the 27 years of dust and dirt but never got around to it and now I'm just too busy to spend time on it.

Good reasoning. The bike appears clean, and if you tok the time to just throw it back together real fast I'm sure it would sell for a little more than what you're currently asking.

I wish I has the time to put it all back together and make a little more off it. My schedule just doesn't allow for it. Its not a particularly difficult job, its just time consuming. PM replied to.
