Description:
Up for sale is a 1981 Yamaha XS 650 Special. The bike has a clear VA title and a valid state inspection until 09/14. This bike has very low original miles with the odo reading just shy of 7500. The bike ran great before I started breaking it down for the addition of custom parts. I put about 1k miles on it over the last summer.
New parts include:
-Bates style headlight (mounted)
-Lowbrow p-nut tank (mocked up, not yet mounted)
-Emgo Triumph replica handlebars
-Throttle and handgrips
-Throttle cable
-Clutch cable
-Stainless steel front brake line
-Uni pod filters with correct jetting to match
-Tires are still fairly new
-Newish battery
Extras:
3 Extra Seats, 2 comfy tourers and a tan colored stock seat
Windshield with mounting hardware
4gal(?) gas tank that matches the other tins
Front fender
Sissy bar with an extra pad
The only thing reason its not running is because I disconnected some wiring/ignition coils to mock up the gas tank, and with a newborn baby, I have zero time to work on the bike. I've got about 2k in this bike with all the new parts, so my loss is your gain. Call/text 757six5two9eight9eight or email.
