Re: S13 JDM 4 point roll bar
Thats pretty much it. I dont have any hardware to put it together, but I know what it would need. I'll get some hardware and assemble it, and take some more pictures when I get a chance. I am very busy and work nightshift. Basically, it takes 10mm or 3/8" grade 8 bolts and uses lock washers with nuts or nylon lock nuts. For the main hoop it should be bolted to the floor along with about 1" thick metal plates the same size as the footprints of the main hoop, with the floor in between the two. This is so that the cage doesnt rip up the floor in the even of a roll, keeping you safe. One would have to come up with the metal plates themselves. I imagine it could also be welded in. The two short arms attach to the main hoop and bolt to the front/topside of the rear fender wells. The cross bar attaches to one point on the main hoop and the other on the adjacent short bar diagonally. My thought is that it might as well be bolted in because the attachments to the main hoop are going to be bolted to it either way.
Im not all that worried about selling it. I really just want some money so I can paint my car. I would definitely trade this setup for someone to do a decent but cheap paint job on my car. The car is white, I want to keep it white, so no door jambs, just exterior. I was going to do it myself with an HVLP gun, and Im talking cheap. Using Rustoleum enamel cut with mineral spirits. I already did some of it with the roll paint method. Thats too much work though.
