I am rather particular when it comes to my vehicles, so if there is an issue, it is taken care of.
The 540s have their weaknesses that are very typical. The bonus with this car is that all the weak points have been replaced.
-New cooling system to include water pump, radiator, and overflow tank.
-New alternator
-Intake manifold gaskets
-Fan control resistor unit
-Dash and Radio displays replaced by BMW. (Pixels were fading)
Maintenance:
Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil
BMW (Mann) oil filters (still have the remainder of the last case in the garage, included)
Redline Differential oil
Washed and waxed regularly
Garage kept
BMW Factory service repair manuals ($150 value)
