Location: Charlottesville
Means of contact: 434-973-6530 or PM
Price: $2300/OBO Make Offer!!!!!!!!!
Description: I'm selling a 1999 VW Passat. The car has 190,xxx miles and is in good shape with very little dings or chips. It has automatic transmission. The interior is also in good shape with no rips, tears or stains and has all the power options. It has good tires that are less than 1 year old that are on 17 inch VW GTi wheels. It's had a lot of work done to it over the last year that include:
fuel filter replaced
front control arms replaced (upper and lower)
new front brake pads
Mass Air Flow sensor replaced
Ignition Control Module replaced
new spark plugs
2 new coil packs
valve cover gasket replaced
various vacuum lines ( smoke test done with no leaks)
The motor has been "de-sludged" and the oil pan was removed and cleaned.
O2 senors replaced
Now for the bad.
The glove box handle is broken, but the glove box works fine.
The center console/armrest hinge is broken. (It was like that when we bought it)
The ABS light is on, but it doesn't affect the function of the brakes.
The check engine light goes on and off. (The codes say it's "running lean and running rich")
The garage that did the service work suggested that we replace the turbo.
Asking $2300/OBO. Accepting offers.
