Default 1991 BMW 325I E30

Name: Cayle Rice

Location: Fredericksburg, VA

Means on contact: Pm, this thread, Text - 540-604-1619

Trades: E36, 94+ Integra, 4 Door EK Civic, MKIV Jetta, 240's, Whatever else that is reliable and good on gas. What I don't want is your primered hatch or project car. This is my Daily Driver and if I'm trading, I need another dependable Daily Driver. I really have my eyes set on a Jetta or E36 though.

Price: $4k OBO, Not looking to sell though.

Details: All in all, this car rides great. I love it, but I need something thats better on gas and more dependable. Its pretty clean for its age and I get compliments all of the time. It has never left me stranded, so I'd say its reliable.
It gets around 25 MPG, depending on how you drive of course. Instrument cluster is fully working, as well as the headlights, brights, fog lights, tail lights and turn signals. The speedo does go out when it rains hard, but it always works the next day. AC blows like a blizzard and the heat works great. Power Windows and Power Steering. The clock is broken on it, but used ones are like 10 bucks. It has some kenwood headunit with an aux in. The headunit is missing trim though. I'll try to get that before the sale.

Mileage: 125,XXX

Exterior Condition: This car is 19 years old and it shows, but I believe it to be in good condition. It has a few cosmetic issues but nothing major.
The passenger's fender has a couple of dents in it, it would probably have to be replaced. The paint is in ok condition, it really needs a good buff and wax, which I've been meaning to do. There are two dings on the hood, one of which has a small amount of surface rust. It had this busted ass spoiler that i took off and there are a couple of mounting holes that would need to be patched up. Or you could just get a decent spoiler.
Rear tires have about 75%-80% tread and front tires have about 60%. Overall, I would rate the exterior as a 7/10.

Interior Condition: The interior is clean. There is a crack in the dash. Theres some leather peeling on the back of the middle console. Other than that, the interior is pretty clean.

Modifications: There may be an exhaust, but I honestly have no idea how a stock E30's exhaust sounds. Stock or not, it sounds amazing...it has a deep rumble. Previous owner said he also had the head ported. I don't know whether he did or not.

Service: The great thing about this car is that it has a ton of maintenance records. It has been taken car of. I'll list what all has been done.

Now I'm going by what the records he has giving me say. None of his shop records put down the mileage for when each part was replaced, but the previous owner told me that it should all be within the last 25k miles.

The timing belt snapped on the previous owner, so he had many parts replaced and rebuilt the head. This is what was included in the rebuild:

Head Gasket
Water Pump
Timing Belt
Alternator Belt
Ac Belt
PS Belt
New Valves
Used Head

The rest is maint. repairs.

Clutch Master
Clutch Slave
PS Hose
2 Motor Mounts
Air Horn
Oil Pan gasket
2 Front Struts
2 Strut Mounts
2 Outer Tie Rods
2 Lower Control Arms
2 Control Arm Bushings
Alternator

I personally replaced the power steering rack/rack and pinion, as the original was leaking and did not pass inspection.

I popped a tire the other day and its on a spare bottlecap for now. I will have the original tire replaced. The car does need new brakes as well and I will replace them. Just haven't gotten around too it.

Pics of damaged fender...

Pics of holes in trunk...

If you have any questions, go ahead and ask. I'm more than happy to talk.
